Josh Scherer is an acclaimed chef, food content creator, podcast host, and best-selling cookbook author. Scherer began his journey in the culinary world as a food journalist with his writing appearing in Los Angeles Magazine, Eater, Food & Wine, Epicurious, Maxim, LA Weekly, Thrillist, First We Feast, and VICE Munchies. His debut cookbook, The Culinary Bro-Down Cookbook, redefines late-night indulgence with over 70 mouthwatering creations from Beer-Poached Bratwurst Party Subs to Broccolini with Burnt Lemon Hollandaise.
In 2017, Scherer joined the Mythical Entertainment team as Culinary Producer on Good Mythical Morning – the most-watched daily show on the internet – and developed flagship series including “Will It?” and “International Taste Test.” He later went on to host his own spinoff show called “Food Fears,” which was nominated for Streamy Awards’ Best Food Show in 2019, and launched the breakout channel Mythical Kitchen in 2020, which has amassed 2.76 million subscribers.
Today, Scherer is the Executive Director of Culinary Content at Mythical Entertainment. He hosts the hit show “Last Meals” with iconic celebrity guests, including Tom Hanks, Post Malone, and Jada Pinkett Smith, and co-hosts A Hot Dog is a Sandwich podcast, reaching 4 million annual listeners and consistently tops the food podcast charts. Among his many accomplishments, Scherer was honored on the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the Food & Drink category. His newest cookbook, The Mythical Cookbook, in collaboration with Mythical Entertainment, was released in March 2024.
